Aftermarket Fog Lights

Hi, Does anyone on here have any aftermarket fog lights they have installed on there Accent, that is wired to a switch? I was thinking of buying these Pentair ones on Amazon but since they don't come with any instructions on how to install them, I would probably not be able to.

Not seeing that the don't have instructions, and they look like they are basically pre-wired.

If not, you should be able to find generic fog light instructions, or I'm sure someone on here could walk you through it.

Basically - Positive post from battery goes to coil on relay. Other side of coil goes to fog lights. Wire from an ADD-a-circuit or battery goes to switch and goes from there to trigger terminal of relay.

Okay Yes those are the ones I am wanting to buy, the description states that they do not come with installation instructions, so hopefully they will not be too hard to install. My fog light wiring harness connector plugs got cut off by some idiots at a aftermarket specailist shop when I tried to have my HID kit installed, which was a epic failure, because they did not know what they are doing, I knew I should have just done it myself. They completley trashed my HID kit so I cannot return them or get my money back, but they were just a cheapy kit anyway, so I have decided to switch up to LEDs instead.

Second link is basically what you want - you can ignore the yellow wire bulb, or use that to light up the switch when the fogs are off, if you wanted to.

Post back if you have more questions.

Thaks for the info, yes I will probably buy these Pentair ones. ComicOzzie, those are some nice upgrades you have done, really like the plasma fog lights, super bright. I was thinking of getting some LED tail lights for my car, was going to get some Smoked LED Tail Lights off Ebay here:

Instead of buying a new set of fog light for my car and all, since I need a new fog light harness, could I just buy this: Would this work at all for my 2012 Accent? I am not sure how to splice anything or how to install this as I am assuming that I would have to splice this on to the other harness. I am just going to install this set of Kensun HIDs in my car that I got as they are 12000k 35 watt. I could care less about color anymore as I just want to see as this cheapy kit I bought the fog lights bunt out already.

Not quite following what you are trying to do now.

The link is a pig-tail harness for an 881 or 889 bulb.

If you have lights that will take an 881 or 889 bulb and don't have a harness for them, you could use that, but most light kits will include a harness - unless you are talking about OEM lights from the dealer or a junkyard (and the junkyard would likely sell you the pigtail with them).

Ok what I am getting at is that my factory harness is destroyed and that body shop cut the end of my plug off and spliced the end of the spade wires from my HID kit that plugs into my ballast on to it. So I no longer have my original harness plug and thought that a cheaper alternative to buying and whole new set of fog lights and all would be to buy a 881 harness.

Here is a photo so you can see what I am talking about.
